Following a successful career as a professional ballerina with prestigious companies PACT and CAPAB in Johannesburg and Cape Town, Sharon retired and entered the business world.

Marrying Walter in 2002 she was immediately conscripted into the exciting world of aviation and spent the following years creating the foundation for their two sons to become airline pilots.

With their successful graduation into the aviation world, Sharon’s responsibilities and interests now range from managing the staff payroll at FTC to developing her budding career as a children’s author.
